GALONG
RUN
Galong is a small town, near Yass. Every year in the first weekend of November, Chris and Miro shut shop and take their customers for the three hour ride out west.
(although this three hour ride has often been known to turn into a six hour pub crawl!)

Arriving around lunch time, everyone either heads straight to the pub or wonders over to the Galong Fair, which coincides every year with the run. Each year at the fair, the locals challenge us to a game of tug-of-war.
By dusk everyone has congregated either at the pub where the beer flows and the live band keeps you entertained, or around the fire in the camping ground. Either way everyone has a helluva good time and can be found partying way into the wee wee hours!
Greg & Di were the perfect hosts, making sure everyone was having a good time. The food was great and the home made soup and damper was better then ever. The live band got everyone in the mood and kept us entertained all night.
The ride home was great for the people who left early, but the unlucky few who left later in the day ran into a pretty nasty hail storm. Apart from that little bit of bad luck, it was generally a great ride, a great night with great people and I cant wait till next year!
