Jay Leno 1936 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead
Whether you are a fan of Jay Leno or not you have to appreciate his love of and collection of motor vehicles and motorcycles.
Jay Leno did very little to restore this lovely 1936 Harley-Davidson® Knucklehead which sat idle in his garage (not your ordinary garage I might add) for some 30 years.
Jay claims this American classic “was the bike that made the company” and “all it needed was a chance”.
It was considered too out of the ordinary for its time for the bike buying public and was only supported by one print ad.
Well needless to say we wouldn’t be posting here if it wasn’t something special. It turns out after 30 years Jay did very little to get going by just flushing the carburetor and gas tank, putting in a new coil and spark plugs and some fresh tyres and boom, back in action.
Watch the following video of Jay talking about this Harley-Davidson® if you please as well as some footage he got from the company from back in the day. Enjoy.
